boom!

that's the production i just watched! at esplanade... theatres on the bay. yippee! it's kind of like those just for laughs performances you see on tv, this one starring 3 very funny spanish guys. it was really good. i can't do it justice by describing the performance so i'll just leave it at that. it's one of the programmes in 'flipside' which all you cultured singaporeans should know about of course :)

went walking around the esplanade. i don't care what people say about it being horrid looking and a waste of money. i think it's a really cool place. the interior design is so modern and sleek plus lots of nice restaurants(!) and i think it's a good place to introduce the arts to people. the sad part is when you see these singaporeans going to the esplanade dressed up like their going to do their weekly marketing. come on! it's a posho place. at least dress decently. oh the library there is really funky too! the interior design really rocks. i shall grab bird to go study there with me one day.... hmm maybe not this holiday though... no time. haha and they had all those silly lion statues placed around the esplanade. you know the ones 'famous' personalities in singapore were asked to personalize? yup. some look really gross i have to say. i was looking for the kueh lapis lion, but alas to no avail. pity about that.

going to start on my intensive mugging officially tomorrow. argh! wish me luck. was supposed to start tonight but harry potter is on. the first movie was really quite bad but i'm still going to waste my evening and watch it. i'm such a sucker.
