sigh jay chou? lightsticks? oh good grief i hope the evil duo of bird and jasho don't attend the singapore idol final. haha.

well cip yesterday was really quite boring. we were trying to sell useless stuff to people with absolutely no need for them. candles... fridge magnets... and a whole bunch a strange things. i mean they're all pretty and everything but what's the point of these? and we met some strange characters. like bon voyage. this crazy lady in a poncho like top with bon voyage printed all over it. i guess she can't really stand the ppl around her. well she sure had a whale of a time at the lucky draw. she had like 50/60 lucky draw tickets all preserved nicely in envelopes. and i think she won 4 out of the 50 prizes. which is really quite a high success rate considering the number of tickets in the stupid box. i didn't win any :( then there was the mark zee-gone-wrong guy who wanted to buy this small box of pink paper flowers. the lunatic couldn't even buy them on the spot. he wanted us to reserve a special box of pink flowers for him even though we had like 10 extra boxes. er right. so to give him a false sense of security we put it aside. and an hour later, he came from the stall he was manning (right next to ours) and paid the dollar for the crap flowers and left really contented. oh and i almost forgot the strange chinese high boys. one kid had 4bucks to spend. so he spent it on what? candles and a box of yellow paper flowers. ????? i'm a girl and i don't even want stuff like that. he looked genuinely pleased with his purchases. and he came back later to buy another candle cos he thought it was really nice. what an excellent place to rub shoulders with the elite.

then bridget jones in the evening. if it weren't for the free tickets i wouldn't even consider going. but i went anyway. haha it's a really funny show. especially good if you're feeling loser-ated or fat. brainless of course (did you expect anything more?) but a nice way to unwind. yup so if you've got a whole bunch of pocket money left over this month and are feeling like a total loser go watch it. you'll feel much better after.
