mount royal 3

thurs i meet the taitai gang again.

we went shoppingggg!
our first stop was OGILVY which is this fancy-pants giant boutique. kind of like harrods without krispy kremes. so it was all seriously high fashion stuff. !!!!!!!!!
hugo boss. droooooooool
burberry. drooooooool
michael kors. droooool
marc jacobs. drooooool
christian dior. drooooooooooooool
haha i had a lot of fun trying on outfits and shoes i will never be able to afford. oooh i love the burberry raincoat that kate moss wears in the ad. but. it was canadian 1350. so with taxes, convert to sing i reckon it's almost a S$2500 coat?? i will prob settle for cheap runway imitations.

more tulips about town!

lunch we went to a really cool modern-ish bistro. rosalie. the decor is very modern but airy. the food was quite ex but nice. i had lobster!!!! but the real reason i think this restaurant is so popular (esp the overwhelming number of male patrons) is the very very hot staff! haha all the waitresses and waiters are really good-looking. the waitresses wear either skin tight beige mini-dresses or super super low-cut pink dresses. with minimum 4inch heels i think. the waiters only button their shirts halfway up their chests! haha a very provocative dining experience i suppose. heehee it must be good to have a job there cos then you know you ARE hot enough.

after lunch, i decided to continue shopping on my own since the other ladies wanted to see dunno what expensive boutique. it was quite fun wandering about on my own! besides a slightly creepy encounter that could rival the ah-beng-biker and let's ntu PRESSURE cooker. heeheehee. i found it quite funny how each time you enter a shop, the salesgirls will practically run up to you and say 'bonjour!'. and they're v friendly too, one of them asked me where i got my earrings from, another one started chatting to me about spore and another one was saying how my shoe choices were similar to hers. haahahhaha. so solitary shopping in a foreign country is not as intimidating as i would have expected.

that evening there was a special concert in the notre-dame by the mcgill string orchestra.they were playing mozart. very grand! except... it was held at 6pm so i kept pinching myself to stay awake. luckily i noticed that a lot of other people around me were nodding about. dinner that night in 'le piment rouge'. chosen by my dad's american friends who didn't realise it was a chinese restaurant. yes chinese food again :S oh well. it was yummy! i love chinese food in angmoh countries cos they always give you fortune cookies at the end of the meal! mine said something lame like "the key to the future is in the past". errrrr.

next day visted st joseph's oratory.gorgeous! nothing very exciting happened. we left in the afternoon and arrived home on sunday!
