i've been here less than a week and i'm feeling sian already. not a terrific start to term.

a good point so far has been that we've been eating quite well so far.... haha had quite a few cookouts and been eating at quite nice places. mainly cos we're dreading the start of term when the buttery will become the main hangout. but yes eating out = money going (quickly) down the drain. heh but yeahhh nice to see everyone again. and catch up!

a highlight of my moving-back-to-cam has got to be my laptop breakdown. 2 days after i got here, my keyboard suddenly stopped functioning. i totally freaked out. i couldn't even log in, the computing officer was on break and my dad didn't reply my text for agessss! completely freaking out. didn't know what to do. in the end got a usb keyboard (i didn't know they existed! if i did i probably wouldn't have crapped myself like i did). and luckily alexb was nice enough to comfort me and recommend curry's otherwise i would have died from the anxiety. perhaps this is an indication that i should try to learn a bit about computers.
