PROM!

i cant believe that my jc life is over! i'm old. i remember when i was younger, i used to wish that time would pass more quickly and that i'd be in jc sooner. now that i've FINISHED junior college, i wish that time didnt pass by so quickly. i dont want to grow up! although i've said that jc life has been disappointing, i guess it's mainly because it was so short and quick. especially this year, with tests and prelims and As and everything else. i think if there was more time(and if i had made an effort too), i'd have gotten to know my friends better. oh well, it's all over now! i just hope it'll not end here.. we have many more years to go! :)

so prom was at The Ritz-Carlton. it was so-so (including the food). ymw didnt come :(:(:( so i hung out with cooler people (like estella, marlom, jianhong, kevin, jon...)at my table. how i wish ymw had gone! now i dont even have a nice picture of us!! (of ymw actually. HHAHAAAAA) i guess i can always superimpose ymw's SEC FOUR ALMA MATER PICTURE in. HAHA. (horror of horrors!!!!!!) anyway, back to prom. the programme was ok, the emcee was like shit, the company was fine but i was still abit miserable! so i went around with estella finding people to take pictures with. at least i have a few nice ones this time round! alma mater was a complete disaster. i had like CHICKEN HAIR. talking about HAIR, sarabird and i went to hollywood secrets to do our hair..and we met lilian and friends there! so i told the lady i wanted a half up half down look and she said "hah so short! i try la". well it turned out quite nicely. but she went to CURL my hair. seriously. i've wanted straighter hair all my life and now...ok, but it wasnt too bad.

2S03K! i hope i got almost everyone in the collage. oh well. i dont know what to say! although we're not a very funky class, (ok i confess, i think we're rather boring.) i guess it's not anyone's fault. we're just too cliquish and quiet and....i dunno. at least we've got brilliant people. (too many in fact) maybe we should have a class outing soon.



all my old and not so old friends! let's see. sukuen and janelle: since our plmgps days! we used to be really close (i've got a picture of sukuen hugging my leg).. but we've grown apart after going to different classes and all.. just hope we wont lose contact with each other! tse min and lynn: since 107!! and gb in lynn's case. (HAHA) tse min my crazy lab partner (oh and anna banana too.. who's not here anymore :( ) we used to do really stupid stuff in lower sec. and i still have all those letters you wrote to me! oh man i really miss my younger days. we had so much time to write letters la! and lynn! thanks for being part of my lower sec life. and gb life. HA. it's been good getting to know you and although we arent exactly very close, i'm still glad that you're my friend!

HAHA. i had memorable times during trainings and competitions! cheryl and laura: oh gosh you both dont even fall into any "category" of friends! we've known each other since we were what.. babies?! haha. and i've got geeky photos to prove it. :D well hope we all continue to keep in touch!



laos roommates! really happy times. i miss suanning watimah and being an idiot bathing without the heater. and banging on the walls trying to communicate with paula's room. and eating and sleeping. and just hanging out in the room! i remember ok.. room 202.



ah tuktuk group! i always like our pictures alot. they always turn out nicest! haha. notice we're (supposed to be) lined up according to height. (timothy cheated!) but mich and lizhen were not at prom.. :( anyway, i really miss laos! it was fun smiling and waving at random people (it's a paula thing), preparing kits in paula vicky and jaya's room every night, talking about stuff till late at night, gushing over cute laos girls (and boys)....... must have outing soon!



SARABIRDDDDD!!!! best friend since sec 1!! thank you for being my friend :) for being the sensible, sane and wise one. HAHA. always there for me.. lower sec, gb, jc...... come to think of it, we did EVERYTHING together! chair and vicechair, post sec, shopping, crapping, even taking SATS together! gosh, opposite DO attract :D:D:D



miss gorgeous legs. the one and only yingmeiwong. :) honestly, i was damn scared of you in rgs! haha i remember i was quite freaked that kandy and i had to join your social studies group (if you remember). and i was pretty shocked when you told me your favourite colour is (was?) PINK. alas, we ended up in the SAME JC CLASS! (you cant imagine how very horrified i must've been. 2 years with a scary girl!) but then, you turned out to be surprisingly friendly. i guess first impressions do not count! thank you for being "the only person in 3k who hangs out with bird". and for making jc life so much more bearable. :)

eeek i must seem like a sentimental old bird. oh yes, talking about bird, i am very amazed that this nickname has stuck for TWELVE YEARS! i cant even remember how it came about. or who gave me this nickname. it probably evolved from "elizabird". i guess it was necessary, "elizabeth" is quite a mouthful.

so thank you everyone for being part of my life. you've made a difference, no matter how insignificant!
