back from laos :)

laos was GOOD. i had alot of fun.. and it was much better than i expected. :) we had really nice spacious rooms with beds and mattresses and pillows and blankets! i expected like small rooms and 4 people squeezing on the bed or floor. and we had clean toilets for shitting and peeing and bathing in. oh i must sound so retarded. but there was a HOLEY WINDOW in our toilet so we froze our asses off in the mornings. and it freaked me out when i was bathing in the toilet and i could hear like people talking and walking along the corridor. cos anyone taller than me could look in and see everything. which means almost all the guys. but they were on another floor so i guess we were just being paranoid.

we didnt do that much gardening in the mornings. but gardening was interesting.. learnt how to dig holes and make fences for creepers and plant plants. and i think our group was quite slack compared to the other group.. (our group, unfortunately, was called POWER RANGERS while the other was mou. which means friend in lao. i think) and we got to teach english almost every second day in each school cos we finished working on the gardens..

ahhh it's only a day and i'm already missing laos! i miss sitting in the tuktuk (although i seriously think you could die from inhaling all that exhaust smoke and polluted air) and doing stupid things like waving at motorists on the streets. i miss going to room 201 to talk and prepare kits and play cards!! i miss the kids! i miss floppy haired guy! i miss laughing at BOBO. and making fun of watimah. and everything. oh well.

like what paula said, we should be glad that at least it happened.

jaya, paula and vicky: thanks for opening up your cosy room to our group and putting up with all the mess we created every night cutting skeletons and preparing kits. and you are all part of our group too! :)

sarabird, clara and haowen: you've been great room mates! thanks for being really fun and putting up with my meanness. ahah especially watimah!

lizhen, tohqi, mich, john, timothy, jaya, paula, vicky, the whole tuktuk group!!: thanks for all the crazy and stupid but fun moments we had in the exhaust smoke filled tuktuk :) you all make up the best tuktuk group ever! we must keep in touch!
