lessons learnt during pe at rjc

pe lessons at rjc are fun! and VERY VERY dangerous.

1. you could trip and fall while playing netball and scrape your chin and chip your front tooth real bad. :(

2. you could get hit right smack in the face by a soccer ball travelling at top speed. and almost get disfigured. (if you're unlucky) :(

isn't this pretty?? it's the view from the apartment. damn cool! it overlooks regents park. the last few times we went in winter, the view was pretty bleak cos all the trees were bare. but this time it's summer!!!!!!!!!!! they've got all sorts of lovely flowers everywhere. and the cool thing about summer is that it doesn't get dark til about 10 in the evening. plenty to do in the evening! oh and i'm sad they took softball out of the olympics cos it was going to be held in the park! now wouldn't that be something? sigh.
















hmm with my sisters. don't look like me at all right? hee hee everyone says they look alike. and i'm the tallest! this was when we went to the london branch of OCBC bank to settle some stuff. london is actually quite cool in summer.... i had to wear a jacket out most times. but with flip flops!

on friday morning we left for cambridge! went punting the whole afternoon. we hired our own boat. it's really really fun!! in this pic you can see the mathematician's bridge (or mathematics bridge) originally built by newton i think. he didn't use a single bolt. but nobody believed him so they took the bridge apart and discovered that there were REALLY no bolts. but then after that they couldn't put it together again. so now the bridge has bolts.





















punting.......... my dad insisted on taking a picture when i desperately needed to concentrate. we crashed into a wall after this i think. heh i tried racing with this guy down the river! but then rounding a bend, i couldn't steer very well (at such high speeds) so i crashed again and pinned his boat to the wall! hah! so i won :)





















the next day was graduation! with the smarty-pants graduate. check out her cool outfit with furry bits! haha we had to walk all the way down from her college to senate house for the ceremony and then walk back up the hill. about a half hour walk. shite my heels were killing me. then a lovely garden party in the college. yummy yummy food. yummy yummy bubbly!! i think i had 3! :S















went to greenwich too. aboard this tea clipper called the cutty sark...

eeeee my sister forced us all to see chelsea stadium. being no football fan, it was surprisingly quite fun! damn the players shower with molton brown! then went to this pub nearby and watched federer annihilate roddick. wimbledon rocks! too bad we couldn't get tickets :(

i was just being mean. as usual. :) how can i forget the "only person in 3k who hangs out with bird"?

went out with sarabird today after chem paper (omg it's over!) to watch INITIAL D!!!!! like finally. the long wait almost killed the jay chou fan. :) oh well, i cant say that the plot's fantastic, but jay chou CAN ACT(!) and the soundtrack is damn good. (obviously!) and it helps that the cast is good looking too. like shawn yue(!) and edison chen (some crazy girls behind us SCREAMED AND SQUEALED when he appeared onscreen..!) well i confess that i was so excited when jay chou appeared that i made some muffled noise to sarabird. haha. :S

you should go watch the movie.. it's quite exciting. and jay chou is the COOLEST MAN ON EARTH. :):):) i'm delirious!
