ntu is just like cambridge!

really!!

today i saw so many blondes and redheads i thought i must be in the uk!! (sarcasm if you can't tell) HAH HAH HAH. shuching and i commented on how funny it is that almost everyone chose the same colour of hair dye. heh so ntu is actually pretty nice. except that it's QUITE far. i took an hour to get there. and actually met quite a few people there like my cousin who insisted i join him at engine lectures. eeeeeeee no. and LIMCHEELIIIIII.

i am now updating my song collection on the laptop. R.E.M is pretty damn good! my jap song archive is GROWINGGG!! yay. quite funny how i only like rock for english songs but for jap songs, almost any genre works. r&b, pop (ayumi hamasaki :D), heavy metal and even rap. hahaha. yay and i have started on naruto!

ooh bird i love that song! haha and blog more. then people know what nus med is like!

haha today we sent off the mighty mouseeeee :( :( erin and i prepared her a nice package with wang wang cuttlefish white rabbit sweets AND sensual peach towel. HAHAHA.

school has started!!!!

argh i havent blogged in ages! and why is this so?

1. sheer laziness.
2. my life is boring.
3. school has started.
4. and because EVERYONE ELSE has started mugging like MAD, i've been (unsuccessfully) trying to mug. i am sad to say that i am ONLY at page 7 of wheater's. and i havent started on ANYTHING ELSE. ok, so this is medicine. but why oh why is it so bloody competitive.

i need to be around normal people. normal people who do not start studying on the first day of school. chill people, CHILL. now where are all my normal friends. they are all going overseas. :( i dont even have time to hang out with them now that school has started! :( :( :( i need a life.

went to watch second link last night. woot support local arts scene! haha i didn't like the first half- malaysian actors doing singaporean pieces. i think the pieces were wayyy too cheem for me. i was just thinking "huh?? HUh?? HuhhH?" throughout 2/3 of it. evidently i am not quite in tune with my artsy side. if it exists. haha during the intermission the people sitting in front of us were like "oh wasn't that marvellous?" "i do so enjoy alfian sa'at" "most palatable indeed". HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH. thankfully the second half was thoroughly enjoyable! singaporean actors doing malaysian pieces. i think the pieces selected were tons better and the actors were definitely more magnetic. anyway, since it was a friday, they had something called 'feedback friday' after the show in which audience members can discuss stuff with the actors directors curators etc. stupid singaporean audience almost completely vacated the theatre immediately after the show ended. we hung around. quite fascinating to hear what the actors had to say.

haha yes thank you passerby i will definitely try out fencing. even though i think the outfits are dorky. and anyway i figured fencing would be a useful skill to pick up in the event that:

1. i get mugged and have an umbrella on hand
2. i have to battle shinigami and/or hollows
3. there is an opening in the next bond film and madonna is still on tour

yesh today i had the funnest time with the randomest people!

cookout with weilin!!!!!!!!! finally. shen onn and shieh yuan were there too. weilin was our driver for the day. heh we went over to her house and cooked pasta (isn't that the easiest) with milk in our sauce. some strange suggestion by weilin that honestly didn't affect the outcome. then we played billionaire and watched hard gay on youtube. omg hard gay is seriously damn crude and gross. i will stick with anime thank you very much. then we thought about climbing/strolling up bukit timah hill/mound. but decided to visit rah instead. just as we got into the car to leave,

and shieh yuan calmly said: "erm weilin, can you open your car door. you are keap-ing my fingers." so calm it was as if she was saying: hmmm it's a nice day today.

thankfully nothing serious but i think weilin was quite freaked out. harhar i was.

and i got this phone call from a girl in my junior class asking for help about applying to cambridge. i asked her where she got my phone number from and she said mr purvis put our contact details up on the board. errrrrr excuse me! isn't that private? i can't believe they put that up without permission. baka.

ugh whatever. so we went to visit rah in little guilin! haha we spent so much time taking pictures on her laptop. spasticated!

and trying out all the weird effects on her camera. haha you can see our unglam photos on weilin's blog. haha i like this one :D and stupid blogger doesn't let me upload anymore. i like rah's dogggggggggg! it's like a hyperactive rug. so adorable :D :D

anyways i had such a great time. stupid discussions about being unreliable vs irresponsible, ladder theory and korean earrings. ayeeee we were quite a strange bunch but...! good luck in msia weilin!! xx

oh my goddddd i'm 19 already. it's kind of weird cos i always had the impression that 19 year olds were large and mature. hmmmm. i suppose i'm quite large. but i still think like a 7 year old sometimes.

haha actually a lot of things have been happening ahhh... but i can't remember!

on fri i was surprised so many random people knew it was my birthday. but it made me feel happyyyyyy! i hung out with my sister cos she had a school holiday! rgs is how slack, she only had to go to school like on mon. heehee we had a good time! i think my sister is the only one who appreciates my stupid jokes and criticises my taste in a rather cruel fashion. ohhhh i'm gonna miss her loads and loads and loads when i leave :( :(

we've started tennis lessons again. cos our strokes have all gone haywire. my coach is a very very very funny man who cannot speak english properly. "you must hit the ball ehjackly on the swissboard ah! don't hit the flame!" --- [you must hit the ball exactly on the sweet spot! don't hit the frame!] but he's impossibly patient and really quite a good coach. aye but i wish he had taught us the double hand back hand cos that looks so much cooler and it's more powerful right. so now for doubles he pairs me with my mum against my sister and my dad. wth. my sister is power personified and my dad is a man. alamak how to win?? mum and i lost 1-4 on sunday lar. so embarrassing. have to work harder! hmmm i wonder if the college team is like super pro...? if they aren't maybe i'll join! BIG ARM BIG ARM.

because work is out and everyone's at school, i needed a hobby! piano was a bad option cos i get bored with the pieces very quickly. i had shuching look at the scores i was playing to determine what grade that was but she didn't know. i suspect grade.... 3/4! pok shit. drums was a bad option too cos i have terrible coordination. i can only do basic beats. guitar was bad cos my fingers have gone soft.... so i've chosen the brainless lazy path! anime on youtube! thanks to let i started off with fruits basket. which was completely hilarious! and the characters were so endearing. haha now i'm onto bleach. uber cool! very very funny and with more action! cons is my fellow bleach fan! i heard my sister's history teacher is mad about it too. harharhar. and because of anime, i have decided that androgeny isn't a bad thing for boys. and that orange hair is cool and not beng. HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH

man i'm a roll here i haven't blogged this much in a while. the other day when i was out i was looking at this girl thinking she had her bangs cut real nice with gorgeous highlights etc kind of spacing out when i suddenly realised she was waving at me. haha it was jess! she was wondering why i was looking at her for so long without calling her. oops. too much spacing out. i've met like 5 different people on days out, completely ignoring them it's not even funny anymore. need to get my mind more focused so i don't dao people :S
