hehe i just had chinese tuition. so funny she's trying to teach me tang shi-s now and i sound like a complete twit trying to recite them la! haha one day i will begin spouting mandarin verse. one day. my teacher is such a funny lady... she's i think 1.4+metres tall?? i passed her in primary 3 or 4. she used to wear these ridiculously high heels around to boost her confidence i guess. but once we moved to jalan ampang from serangoon i think she couldn't take the walk up the hill so now she wears sensible flats (which i hear are the in thing this season. what a fashionista) she's from suzhou and she always tells me about how suzhou 'produces' all the mei3 nu3s. hmmm and she's the amazing lady who took my higher chinese from a c5 to an a1. so if you want a chinese tutor then let me know. haha oh and she has all these weird theories like how if you eat too much milk products like butter and cheese, you'll start smelling like a cow (???) and if you sleep with your hair wet, you'll attract nits. actually i do wonder sometimes how i manage to understand all the cheem stuff she says.

anyway i'm feeling incredibly overwhelmed by all my work. CHEMISTRY in particular. ugh there are tutorials, s paper assignments and stupid tests to mug for :( :( what a way to end my happy week. oh and i just heard my friend got MARRIED. yikes. she's like 20 i think?

good things that happened:

-i met py at turf city today! and i almost saw colin-the-ymw-lookalike-1.9m-guy. :( i missed him!

-i got socks that actually match my shoes..!

other(bad) things that happened/are happening/will be happening:

-the touch rug team from a certain premier junior college(not rjc) near turf city is damn cheaterbug. Heinous Crime committed: some person DROPPED the ball on the ground, FELL ON IT, picked it up and continued running like no shit happened at all. and the blind referee was being a super mega a-s-s-h-o-l-e. fantastic.

-carbonyl and carboxylic tutorials due on FREAKING MONDAY. i wonder if she knows that we take OTHER subjects as well.

-bio spa and math test on tues. AND CHEM S. which never fails to remind me that i actually DO have a bird brain.

-chem class test on wed. oh wow, we really love chem and we really cant be bothered about math, bio, physics and gp. my life is like chem, chem AND CHEM.

-gb LOG BOOK is due TOMORROW. someone just kill me. (and we still havent found anyone to teach us some stupid sport.)

-i'm very sure there are other gross stuff which will be happening on thurs and fri but i cant think of any at the moment. my brain is bursting.

well it seems that nothing good will be happening in the week ahead. :(

i fell asleep twice during bio prac today :( mr low is going to hate me. but i cant help it if bio prac makes me lethargic. jianhong wants to rent me his weird lenses with eyes drawn on them.

school canteen food totally sucks. only chinese food is normal.

the week hasn't been all too bad since for some unknown reason i actually feel pysched up this week. monday training was goooood! hah i actually got to do some batting practice. and pt isn't all too bad (hmmm that means pt isn't tough enough actually. never mind) except i hate it when everyone looks at my thighs and starts singing: hark! i hear thunder i hear thunder..... :( :( :( :( :( :( oh no.

hmmm anyway i'm bored so let me tell you about an interesting fruit test val told me...

haha anyway we had our first friendly game against rg b div on wednesday. my first game as catcher. i don't think i'm very good :( must try harder. in a way it's kind of nice playing that postition cos you don't get bored. and i don't get scared of the ball (or at least i'm not supposed to) cos i'm well protected. haha but ppl say i'm so not a 'catcher'. which is true. i mean i hardly think anyone is going to look at me and say: oh do you like play catcher on your team? haha and batting sucks. must try harder.

poor bird is in a state of severe depression. having your heart broken twice in a week is simply too much to bear! haha who the hell is patty anyway? she looks so old.

and my dad just left for UK to visit my sister and US for a conference. he packed like frozen char kway teow and chinese sausages for my sister! hope he got through customs. haha that's so funny... i wonder what comes up on the x ray...???

now i owe the library money. :( i shouldn't borrow books anymore. i cant remember to return them.

played like shit today. must do more fart legs. pissed off! turf city is DAMN ULU. and it started POURING like halfway through our game with pjc. better not get sick.

er nothing much to talk about really. training today was ok. but rj grass is frigging itchy! i'll bet they spray all sorts of weird chemicals on it. then pt which wasn't all that bad.

so today was valentine's day. yay. unfortunately for swinging singles (hah!) such as bird and myself, it's only an occasion to stuff myself with candy and chocolate.... oh special mention to the guys of 2so3k. i didn't think you guys were so nice! hahaha val gave me reese's peanut butter cups! i like!!!!! oh yummy yummy. peanut butter is one of the nicest things on earth. i love all things peanut butter!!! although i've never found out how pb&j tastes like. but i'm sure it rocks. oh yuck i'm not making sense anymore. i guess i better start on homework :(

so i got back on thurs. oh gosh staying in ipoh is like the best thing every year. i can go downstairs anytime of the day (before 1730) and there'll always be food. duh it's a damn coffeeshop. i actually worked there for a couple of days since the shop was still open when i went back. harrowing experience. i have to brush up on my cantonese. ppl say they can practically see my mind churning furiously to translate when they speak to me in mandarin. woah wait til they speak in cantonese. train of thought:
1. take orders in cantonese
2. translate into mandarin/english in my head to figure out what they want
3. get the damn drinks
4. think how much each drink costs
5. add them up
6. translate the cost into cantonese
7. get paid
8. calculate change
9. figure out malaysian money
10. doh zhei.

shit and this goes on for every order. haha the other guys working at the shop kept laughing at me cos they said i look so puzzled everytime. (which they said in cantonese which i had to translate again) anyway they were really nice tho i couldn't understand them half the time. and i was convinced they were like 14 or 15 but they whizzed off after work on their motorcyles so i guess they're 18. oops. i am awful at ages.

anyway the food in malaysia rocks! not posho restaurants (ipoh doesn't have any anyway cos it's such a poor town. yes i have most humble roots!) but hawker food! which is a lot more unhealthy. oh no i can feel my double chin already (speaking of which i think prince william has a double chin... eeee) other than eating there's not much to do. so it's pirated dvds. haha yeah i really like watching hongkong movies in cantonese. it's so much more authentic and it helps me improve my cantonese. and jap and korean movies are cool too. that's the way to go since hollywood produces such shit nowadays.

oh and i got another massive happy bruise on the back of my leg! :( :( :( yucky. i'm pretty sure i didn't get whacked there cos i made a mental note of where i got hit (shoulder, hip, shin...) which gets me a bit worried. thanks to wangyang and her weepy winter sonata shows. i think i better have a blood test done. but i'm scared! the last time i had blood taken was in pri2 when i had dengue fever and i bawled my eyes out!!!!

had a nice posh-nosh new year lunch at crystal jade golden palace yesterday. there was this funny lady there wearing a damn tight micro mini cheongsam. and i think she split it cos there was a weird slit at a not v fashionable place. oh dear. hmmm then went out with suyin jingmin and serena later... haha was quite fun. we should do this more often! and gosh so many ppl were out yesterday. including bird.

exciting thing no1: a not-that-gigantic spider terrorized us during math lecture today. manini actually screamed when she thought it was near her. and bird made all her strange helpless squealy noises. haha and the guy in front under karent's orders to "kill it" tried to cover it with the abandoned bright red moving day visor prompting the damn thing to crawl closer to me. brilliant.

exciting thing no2: i waved to a girl i didn't know. that is totally out of character but i was staring at her for too long cos she looked familiar. so the only thing i could really do was wave. thankfully she said hello and seemed to recognize me. close shave.

haha chem s today was ok. not as demoralizing as physics. bird and i felt like such felons when we stole the answers off the notice board. though technically there's nothing wrong with that. hmmm and the horrid old hag in the library was actually nice today. i guess so long as i keep my mouth shut in her territory. but i'm still gonna keep visits to the library at a minimum.
